Care Center
Most of the women participating in the Restoration Program are mothers of one or more young children who depend exclusively on them. To ensure their access to workshops, courses, and empowerment processes without exposing their children to risky situations, it is essential to have a space that provides support in their care and direct attention while the mothers remain at the Foundation. One of the main vulnerabilities for survivors of Sexual Commerce and/or Human Trafficking is the lack of support networks and limited economic resources, which makes this initiative even more necessary.
Our goal is to offer a safe environment for the direct care of their children, allowing mothers to manage their restoration process with peace of mind. In this way, we contribute to the protection of these boys and girls, who face multiple vulnerabilities due to their complex social context, the absence of support networks, and their condition as minors, which makes them dependent on adults to guarantee their rights.
For this reason, we promote a comprehensive care space that not only covers their basic needs but also stimulates their development and learning. In addition, we provide workshops on children’s rights, values, and life skills, specially designed for children between 6 and 10 years old, with the purpose of strengthening their well-being and resilience.
